Privacy Policy
Last updated: 11 December 2025
This Privacy Policy explains how Storytrack (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects and uses information when you visit our website, use the ROI calculator, and request early access to the product.
For data protection purposes, Storytrack is operated by
Stefan Irava.
If you have any questions about this policy or your data, you can
contact us at:
hi@storytrack.co
1. What this policy covers
This policy applies to:
- visitors to the Storytrack website
- people who submit the early access form
- people who contact us by email or via any contact form we provide
- people who use the ROI calculator on the site
It does not cover how any third-party services we use (such as analytics or email providers) handle data in isolation; they have their own privacy notices.
2. Information we collect
We collect the following types of information:
a) Early access form data
When you request early access, we collect the information you submit, such as:
- email address
- your role
- company size
- any optional context you provide (for example, a description of when you wished you had better decision history)
b) ROI calculator usage
When you use the ROI calculator, the values you enter (such as headcount, salary and industry) are used to generate an estimate in your browser. We may collect aggregated or anonymised information about calculator usage (for example, how many people used it and which options were selected), but we do not need to tie calculator inputs to your identity unless you choose to share that context in the early access form.
c) Usage and analytics data
We may collect basic analytics data about how the website is used, such as:
- pages visited and time spent on them
- links or buttons clicked
- browser type, device type and approximate location (city/country)
- referrer (how you arrived at the site)
This is typically collected using cookies or similar technologies. We use this to understand interest in Storytrack and improve the site, not to build detailed profiles of individual visitors.
d) Communication data
If you contact us by email or through a contact form, we collect:
- your email address
- your name, if you provide it
- the content of your message and our replies
3. How we use your information
We use the information we collect to:
-
Review and manage early access requests
Decide who to invite into early waves and communicate with you about your request. -
Communicate with you about Storytrack
For example, to follow up on your interest, offer an early access invite, ask for feedback, or share important updates about the service. -
Operate, maintain and improve the website
Understand which pages are visited, how people use the ROI calculator, and where we can improve content or performance. -
Maintain security and prevent abuse
Monitor for unusual or malicious activity that could affect the site or other users. -
Comply with legal obligations
Keep limited records where we are required to do so by law or where needed to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
We do not sell your personal data.
4. Legal bases (for UK/EU visitors)
If you are in the UK or EU, we rely on the following legal bases for processing your personal data:
-
Consent
When you actively submit the early access form or contact us, you are giving us consent to use that information to respond and follow up. -
Legitimate interests
To operate and improve the website, understand overall interest in Storytrack, protect the service from abuse, and follow up in a reasonable way about your request.
You can withdraw your consent at any time by emailing hi@storytrack.co. This will not affect any processing that has already taken place.
5. How long we keep information
We keep personal data only for as long as reasonably necessary for the purposes described above. For example:
- Early access requests: while Storytrack is running an early access programme and for up to 12–24 months afterwards, so we can track interest and follow up.
- Contact emails: for as long as needed to handle your enquiry and maintain a basic record of our interaction.
- Analytics data: according to the retention settings of the analytics tools we use.
We may keep limited information for longer where we are legally required to, or where it is necessary to establish, exercise or defend legal claims.
6. Sharing your information
We may share your information with:
-
Service providers
Third-party services that help us run the website and communicate with you, such as email providers, form processors, analytics tools or error monitoring. They process your data on our behalf and are not allowed to use it for their own purposes. -
Professional advisers
Such as lawyers or accountants, where reasonably necessary. -
Authorities or regulators
If we are legally required to share information, for example in connection with an investigation or legal proceedings.
We do not sell your data to third parties.
7. International transfers
Some of our service providers may be based outside the UK or the European Economic Area (EEA). Where this is the case, we will take appropriate steps to ensure that your data is protected, such as using standard contractual clauses or relying on adequate protection decisions, in line with applicable data protection laws.
8. Your rights
Depending on where you live, you may have certain rights over your personal data. These can include:
- the right to access a copy of the personal data we hold about you
- the right to correct inaccurate or incomplete data
- the right to request deletion of your data when we no longer need it
- the right to object to or restrict certain types of processing
- the right to data portability (to receive your data in a machine-readable format)
To exercise any of these rights, contact us at hi@storytrack.co. We may need to verify your identity before responding.
If you are in the UK or EU, you also have the right to lodge a complaint with your local data protection authority. In the UK, this is the Information Commissioner’s Office (ICO).
9. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date at the top. If we make significant changes, we may also highlight them on the website.
10. How to contact us
If you have any questions about this Privacy Policy or how we handle your data, you can contact:

We’ll do our best to respond within a reasonable time.
